    Zoe Roebuck
    Grants Officer

    My role as Grants Officer is all about managing applications from NHS staff for funding of under £5,000. I get to collate and understand the difference our funding makes and see first-hand that small changes really can have a big impact. I’m also able to help support and advise staff with their projects.

    Guess what? I have a level 3 NVQ in make up artistry. I love creating bold and brilliant makeup looks for nights out, festivals and Halloween.

    Individual Giving Manager

    As Individual Giving and Legacies Manager, I’m responsible for encouraging both new and existing supporters to donate and help us to support Sheffield’s NHS. This includes looking after our weekly lottery, encouraging one-off donations and regular giving and gifts in Wills.

    Guess what? I once bungee jumped off the world’s largest waterfall!

  3. Bev Johnson Bev Johnson

    Bev Johnson
    Executive Assistant

    As Executive Assistant to our CEO I support our CEO, the Leadership Team and Board of Trustees, to ensure they can all work as effectively as possible. I’m the go to for most things, from co-ordinating board meetings and distributing minutes to helping with recruitment and everything in between.

    Guess what? I spent three weeks in China and attended the Ice Festival in Harbin where temperatures drop to -24 degrees during the day!

    Director of Fundraising

    I head up our fundraising department. My role is to drive our fundraising forward providing varied and innovative ways for you to support the NHS in Sheffield. I want to be speaking to new and diverse groups and communities and to build powerful networks across the Sheffield City Region. I believe all good things are based on relationship building. And tea. Fancy a cuppa?

    Guess What? I once ran a 200-mile ultramarathon in 51 hours in a cold dark tunnel for charity.

  5. Tim Hobson Tim Hobson

    Tim Hobson
    Finance Manager

    I’m the Finance Manager and I joined the Charity as Senior Finance and Legacy Officer in 2014. I oversee the Charity’s income and expenditure, NHS staff study leave claims, Legacy gift administration and the management of our fund structure.

    Guess what? I have two pet snakes.

  6. Judith Moulsdale Judith Moulsdale

    Judith Moulsdale
    Director of Finance

    As Finance Director I oversee all financial activities and reporting. I work in collaboration with our Senior Leadership Team, the CEO and Trustees to ensure that our strategic objectives are achieved and developed. I ensure financial compliance with controls and procedures which are in accordance with the Charities Commission. My job is to make sure the Charity delivers value for money and that funds are spent in the right areas.

    Guess what? I worked in St Lucia teaching in a secondary school for disadvantaged children.

  7. Katherine Ebbs Katherine Ebbs

    Katherine Ebbs
    Fundraising Apprentice

    As Fundraising Apprentice, I work across all areas of fundraising. I look after our caring crafters, and I make applications to different trusts to raise money for our organisation. Alongside my work duties, I also attend lessons where I am able discover more about the different areas of fundraising.

    Guess what? I love Taylor Swift nearly as much as I love fundraising!

  8. Bethan Thomas Bethan Thomas

    Digital Marketing and Communications Officer

    My role involves working on all things digital - social media, emails and our website. I can usually be found fiddling around with a new design or sussing out social trends - I love supporting our amazing Charity by making things and spreading the love on the internet for our incredible supporters and Sheffield’s NHS.

    Guess what? I am the proud owner of five Blue Peter badges (I really loved making collages as a kid!)

    Director of Grants

    I work with STH and SHSC’s amazing teams to translate great ideas into reality! We exist to deliver patient benefit, but we can’t do this unless NHS staff work with us to develop their ideas. For large projects this can mean months of dialogue and the millions of pounds we grant each year, as a result, really is worth it. Director of Dreams at your service!

    Guess what? When I started school I couldn’t speak a word of English but it didn’t stop me: In 2004, I qualified as a solicitor and worked as a construction litigator for a leading international law firm before joining the Charity.

  10. Fiona Edmondson Fiona Edmondson

    Fiona Edmondson
    Finance Officer

    As Finance Officer I process income from donors, fundraisers, and our retail Hub. I make sure everything is allocated correctly and that we we pay for the things we’ve committed to for patients and staff. I oversee our HR systems and look after IT for the Charity – there’s never a dull moment!

    Guess what? I love anything with a motor, cars, bikes and even power tools – I love woodwork, to the point where I have no space left for anything new.

    Director of Brand and Communications

    It’s my responsibility to make sure that people across Sheffield know who we are, what we do and the difference we make together. I lead a brilliant team, and with them create ways to raise our profile, communicate our impact and encourage support. We love a reyt good Sheffield partnership and I’m always looking for people and organisations to align with us. I’m a big fan of saying What If…

    Guess what? I once worked with Noddy Holder and every Christmas I mark the occasion by sharing my picture with him.

    Fundraising Assistant

    As Fundraising Assistant, I provide a welcoming first point of contact for our supporters. I’m here to answer any questions people may have and help them on their fundraising journey. I love putting together supporter thank you letters and hearing about their weird and wonderful fundraising ideas. If you call to make a donation over the phone it will be me you speak to. I look forward to having a chat!

    Guess what? I would love to write my own novel one day.

    Drawing on my varied charity experience and with our Leadership Team, I drive Sheffield Hospitals Charity forward. With our Board of Trustees, Charity staff, NHS colleagues, and external stakeholders I ensure we're being as strategic and collaborative as possible, so that together we can support our NHS where it's most needed.

    Guess what? I wrote and performed a one woman show.

    Community and Events Fundraising Manager

    I manage the Community and Events Fundraising team. My role is to identify new events and community engagement opportunities across Sheffield and beyond looking for ways to support our existing and potential supporters. That’s runners, walkers, golfers, skydivers and organisations like schools, places of worship or community groups like Rotaries, and more. I love supporting my team in their own roles and meeting our amazing supporters!

    Guess what? I’ve got two gorgeous nieces and I’m very dedicated to keeping the role of favourite Auntie. I’ve got a great witch impression which they love.

    I look for like-minded companies who are keen to support our work with Sheffield’s NHS. That could be by taking part in fundraising activities, sponsoring our events, donating or joining us in a partnership that can raise funds, profile and engagement with employees, customers and supporters. I love working on new and exciting projects and being on hand to deliver the best experience and outcomes for our corporate partners.

    Guess what? I’ve been to every Tramlines Festival ever in Sheffield. I LOVE live music !

    My role is to get to know the real people and communities of Sheffield and to help them support our NHS patients and staff. I love meeting people and working with organisations like schools, colleges and Universities; community groups like Rotaries and Lions; faith groups and more. If you’d like to hear more about the work we do and how you could help support let me know and I’ll arrange a cuppa.

    Guess what? I was a primary school teacher for six years.

    As Marketing and Communications Officer, I focus on writing press releases, internal and external communications, and news pieces for our website. I love bringing the Charity and supporter stories to life and showcasing the incredible work that we do to support Sheffield’s NHS.

    Guess what? They say owners start to look like their pets, but I don’t know what they mean.

    Retail Hub Assistant

    I work in the Charity retail hub at the Northern General Hospital site. You’ll find us in the Huntsman entrance. I love meeting the different hospital visitors, patients and staff who come into our hub to buy something lovely or find out about the work we do at Sheffield Hospitals Charity.

    Guess what? I love nothing better than going on a good walk and spending time with my family

    I have the best job in the Charity. I get to bring joy to people across Sheffield. If people see me out and about, they can’t help but smile and wave. I was created as part of a competition with schools across Sheffield by a girl called Isabelle. She’s so clever! Isabelle says I’m a caring cat of all colours to look after everyone and that I wear a rainbow cape to celebrate our NHS superheroes.

    Guess what? Isabelle based my creation on her own ginger cat.
